The ten year management plan will expire in 2011 and the future of Flathead Lake depends on where the management plan goes during this critical period.
If you have not read the plan, you need to. The five year review and the most recent 2008 annual review will explain exactly where fisheries managers feel the lake is at in regards to native fish and particularly Lake Trout.
